Filter bag material selection starts with working conditions, not only price.
Before asking for a quotation, collect operating temperature, peak temperature, moisture, dust type, particle size, chemical gas exposure, bag dimensions, cleaning system, and target service life.
Polyester is usually practical for moderate dry dust. PPS is often used for hotter and more acidic flue gas. PTFE is selected for harsh chemical or high-efficiency filtration. Aramid is common in asphalt plants. Fiberglass can handle higher temperature when installation and cage fit are controlled.
